The Eleven made a surprise announcement today on Twitter. As everyone knows, the Eleven have had their fair share of offensive foibles.

Goals have been pretty hard to come by. Hopefully, this new addition in Sebastian Velasquez can help things up front and get the goals flowing.

The Columbian Vet

Velasquez is a player out of Columbia and is currently 32 years old. So this is definitely a move in the interest of the current Eleven and not for the future Eleven. After only playing one match for Memphis 901, Sebastian is packing his bags to play for the 317.

I am not expecting much from him because he only has one match under his belt this season. Especially when his best season was in 2019 for the El Paso Locomotive where he only notched five goals and two assists. Even at his peak, Velasquez wasn’t making much noise.

But maybe Mark Lowry has something up his sleeve with this signing. Only time will tell.
